Beginning with Jaakko Mäntyjärvi's magnificent choral work dedicated to the memory of those who lost their lives in the Estonia disaster and ending with Sven Ahlin's setting of Martin Luther King's freedom speech, the Barents International Chamber Choir and Erik Westberg mark out the realities of our time and our world. It is a powerful, vivid and well-conceived album that touches upon the conditions of our existence.
