Here is the sixth release in the most authoritative CD series of Khachaturian's music ever issued. It includes the CD premiere of the composer's first orchestral work, the outstanding Dance Suite of 1933. The popular Piano Concerto of 1937 marks an imposing debut for the brilliant Armenian pianist Dora Serverian-Kuhn, who has made a speciality of the work. The Waltz & Polka are world premieres.
