After two very well appreciated CDs ("The Bard", nosag CD 074, and "What Happened in Fremantle", GASON CD 716) the guitar player David Härenstam here presents a classical music production together with virtuoso violinist Nils-Erik Sparf. The Duo here plays hot and glowing versions of music from several times: Roman, Beethoven, Paganini, Piazzolla and a fresh contemporary piece by Swede Eberhard Eyser, specially written for these musicians. Here the Duo invites the pianist Bengt Forsberg to form a brilliant Trio.
The CD "Racconti" - Tales - is a virtuoso presentation of exciting music where the violin playing of Sparfs in some Paganinisonatas with the very listening Härenstam guitar has an extra shine, together with the sparkling version of the Piazzolla Histoire de Tango.
